How does the SILQ + NetDocuments integration work?

SILQ has integrated with NetDocuments allowing your firm to securely create, manage, and collaborate on documents from anywhere - and associate them with matters in SILQ.

SILQ integrates seamlessly with NetDocuments, enabling your firm to securely create, manage, and collaborate on documents from anywhere — all while keeping them linked to the relevant matters within SILQ.

NetDocuments is only available to users on the Solicitor Expert billing plan. More information on SILQ's pricing plans can be found here for Solicitors. This feature is not available for Barristers.

Before setting up the integration, there are some key pieces of information you will need to know. These can be found within NetDocuments

  1. Cabinet Name - In NetDocuments, a Cabinet is used for common access to an organized and managed document repository. Your firm may have multiple cabinets, however for the purpose of this integration you will need to specify the name of the cabinet where client documents are stored (e.g. your firm may simply call it documents). The cabinet name can be found here:

  2. Client Attribute - these are described in NetDocuments are profile attributes. To edit your profile attribute lookup tables, select your name in the upper-right corner > Admin > Repository > Profile Attributes. A list of your custom profile attributes appears:

  3. Matter Attribute - as above (normally set at Matter (1002)
