In order for the NetDocuments integration to work correctly you will need to follow 2 separate steps.
The first part (system settings) will need to be done by a person who has full access to both SILQ NetDocuments.
The second part (My Profile), should be done by each user who will be using the integration.
Although both steps may seem like they are doing the same thing, the first allows access to the organisation as a whole, and the second authenticates each user.
System Settings
- Navigate to the settings icon in the top right corner
- On the left hand side, click on the templates option
- You will see a dropdown titled cloud storage - select NetDocuments
- The fields will change to ask you to insert Cabinet Name, Client Attribute & Matter Attribute. More information on where to find those details can be found in this article
- Once you have entered the above details, click on 'Connect to NetDocuments'
- A pop-up will appear asking you to enter your NetDocuments details
- Enter your NetDocuments details and click on Login
- Once you have logged in, NetDocuments will ask you to allow access. When you are satisfied with what you have read on screen, please click on Allow
- SILQ will then automatically connect for you and you should receive a notification as such
My Profile
Once the above has been completed, each user who will require access to the integration (i.e. to create and save documents to) will need to follow the below steps
- In the top right corner, navigate to the person icon and click on it
- A dropdown will appear, click on My Profile
- On the left hand side, navigate to the Connections tab
- Navigate to the NetDocuments box and click on connect
- You will be asked to enter your login details
- once you have logged in, you will be asked to allow access. When you are satisfied with what you have read on screen, click on allow
- SILQ will then automatically connect for you and you should receive a notification as such
