The headline of this release is speed, where you now have the ability to favourite matters to get to where you need to faster as well as renaming files in a much quicker way.
At SILQ, we are dedicated to enhancing our software through regular updates and improvements to provide you with the best user experience possible.
In March 2024 we've released some updates and a number of new features.
What's New?
1. You can now “Favourite” matters so that when you logon to the matters screen or need to select a matter (e.g. from the reports, trust, time entry windows etc) you will see your favourited matters first. Users find this especially helpful when they know there are a handful of matters that they are currently working on regularly throughout the day.
To favourite a matter, simply click on the Star icon next to that matter.
When you are no longer working regularly on a matter, you can unfavourite it by again clicking on the star icon next to the matter.
2. Document Generation has been enhanced to be even faster for you.
Now, before actually generating the document, you will see there is now a New Filename field and Select A Folder dropdown. By doing this, it negates the need to rename/move the document after it’s generated.
What's been updated?
1. You are now able to show the Addressee Position on your invoice template as well as being able to indent address details so that the details can be seen through an envelope window.
2. The Dashboard date range menu has been updated to be consistent with other windows, allowing you to choose a date quicker than you have previously been able to.
3. In the templates window under system settings, we have added a “Connect to” button that makes it a little quicker to connect to a cloud drive if one is not yet setup.
4. Added the “Totals”’ to the Estimates window.
5. We have improved the way our e-signature functionality works in terms of being able to add a signature to your invoice templates.
6. When creating a diary appointment the Matter box will be greyed out when the user has chosen Personal or Other as the category to avoid any inadvertent errors.
7. To make things quicker in the diary, the Create Diary Entries window now defaults to showing Billable items.
What has been enhanced?
A number of small bug fixes and general usability improvements. These include things like recalculating time entries where the user has multiple rates and enhancements with exporting to CSV. Plus so much more to make your day to day tasks that much more efficient.
