Uploading Templates
First you will need to navigate to the document templates window. To do this, follow these steps:
1. From the matters window, find the matter you are looking for
2. In the top navigation, find the icon called Generate Document & click on it. You will then be in the below screen and will need to click on the Management tab.
Our drag and drop functionality means that you can simply drag the Template file from your computer to the Document Management window in SILQ.
The only file types that are supported are dotx & docx files.
In the example above, the Invoice Solicitor template was updated, and is being reuploaded.
Your new template will upload and appear in the list with the rest of your templates, ready for you to use.
There are two important things to note here though:
1. Templates with the identical name and that are the same file type (e.g. two dotx files) will be overwritten
2. Templates with a different name (even just 1 character different) and / or different file type will be added in addition to what is already there.
