View summary numbers like how much is outstanding or work yet to be invoiced plus stats on billable hours broken down by Fee Earner over a particular period.
Discover the total billable hours your firm has successfully captured, invoiced, and collected, all conveniently displayed in a single dashboard. Utilise SILQ’s Firm Dashboard to pinpoint areas where you can enhance productivity, streamline operations, and boost revenue across your firm.
The firm dashboard will only be shown to those with permission to see this. By default this permission is off for everyone except those who are marked as the principal.
You can edit what you want to see on this dashboard by toggling on the edit dashboard wording on the top right (see first screenshot below). Once it is toggled on, simply star anything you would like to see an un-star anything that is not relevant to you. Please note, this is saved on a per user basis, so anything you do on your user account will not affect what displays for a different user of the same firm.
Offers managers, administrators, and users with reporting permissions insights into the metrics of their firms.
It presents data by your desired time period and can be adjusted with the date selector at the top of the page. This dashboard calculates all metrics based on the date of an activity, not the date of a payment or bill.
There are a number of ways to filter the dashboard, which can all be done from the top panel shown in the screenshot below:
1. Exclude Pro Bono/Speculative - When creating a matter, you are able to set the matter as either speculative or pro-bono (both of these refer to matters where you are not charging on a time costed basis). If you would like to exclude time entries related to these types of matters, then you would toggle this option on so that it is green like in the screenshot above. If you would like to include these entries, then turn the toggle off.
2. Exclude Internal Matters - When creating a matter, you are able to choose from the matter class dropdown the internal matter class. Internal matters are used to record time on things that are firm related rather than actual matters that can be charged to clients. If you would like to exclude time entries related to these types of matters, then you would toggle this option on so that it is green like in the screenshot above. If you would like to include these entries, then turn the toggle off.
3. Group by - In the context of this dashboard, the group by is relevant to graphs 7-19 below. You are able to group by Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Calendar Year or Financial Year. This will be determined by the date range you select in point 7 below.
4. Inc/Ex GST - You can choose to show the as either Inc or Ex GST. This will apply to all numbers within the dashboard.
5. Matter Owner - When choosing this option it will only show you numbers where the selected user is the matter owner. E.g. if your firm has 200 matters and 70 of those matters has the selected user as the matter owner, then the dashboard will be filtered to show the relevant numbers for those 70 matters only.
