How do I print a list of my matters in SILQ?
There are 2 ways to do this in SILQ - either by using the matter listing report or by configuring the matters screen to show the fields you want to see then exporting the list to CSV and printing from there.
You can print your list of matters 1 of 2 ways in SILQ.
Matter Listing Report
The matter listing report shows you the following fields:
1. Matter #
2. Matter Description
3. Matter Class
4. Matter Type
5. Client
6. Matter Owner
7. Primary Fee Earner
8. Person Assisting
9. Date Commenced
10. Estimate
11. Last Review Date
12. Referrer
13. Status
14. Trust Balance
15. Notes
16. Invoiced (Inc) amount
17. Received (Inc) amount
18. Outstanding (Inc) amount
19. Unbilled Fees (Ex) amount
20. Unbilled Disbursements (Ex) amount
To find this report click on the reports tab up the top in SILQ and under management click on Matter Listing. You will then be able to filter by the below options:
Exporting the list to CSV
The second option is to first configure the matters screen with the information you are looking to print and then exporting that into a csv file. The benefit of doing it this way, although slightly longer is that you are able to customise what you can print. For example if you are a criminal lawyer and you would like the list to include the sentencing date or a conveyancer wanting to include the settlement date, then this option is best for you.
