SILQ enables you to configure a default matter sundry, such as a file opening fee, that is automatically added to every new matter created.
Before following the below steps, make sure you have created the sundry you wish to have added to WIP once a matter is opened. The below steps will not work if that is not configured first.
To do this:
1. Navigate to System Settings
2. Click on Business Setup from the left hand panel
3. Expand the 'Choose your defaults and which fields are required' section
4. At the bottom of the above section you will see the dropdown titled 'Automatic New Matter Sundry' - choose from the dropdown the sundry you wish to automatically to the WIP for every new matter opened
5. Down the bottom right, click the green save button
